Christmas Eve 2007...
it was about 9.30pm after the Christmas Eve wedding dinner, and everyone else, except me had got themselves pre-planned Christmas countdown events/parties to go to. I gave Jo a call, and to my surprise, she was pretty much free that night, and asked me to meet her up at FIRE, a new pub taking over the previous location of Oregano at Travillion as she was invited there by the owner@friend. I reached Travillion, and manage to find a car park in front of FIRE after what seemed like an eternity of queue up with so many cars wanting to get into that area.
The DJ area up on the wall in FIRE. The pub was entirely jam packed with party people, and it was pretty much difficult to move around. Music was too loud, and it was hard to even speak. The situation was made worst when it rained, and everyone tried squeezed in for shelter. We were there for about an hour plus before deciding to change to a quieter place for a drink as FIRE didn't seem to cut it. FEVER was another option, but then decided against it as when we drove pass Jalan Bukit Mata Kucing, the whole place was full of cars and it would be impossible to get parkings.
YN Cellar at Merdeka Palace was where we ended up at. good atmosphere, nice soft music, and most importantly, not much people there... only 2 table were occupied before we were seated.
ordered a bottle of wine...
RYMILL Coonawarra SHIRAZ was the name... and pretty good it was...
the wine was then poured into a decanter... it wasn't until almost 2am that we managed to finish it and headed back home. the rain was still pouring at that hour... but it didn't really deter them Kuching party goes as traffic was still pretty heavy downtown...

despite spending over RM200 for the wine (we shared the bill), I think it was money well spent rather than opening a bottle of *insert alcoholic drinks* at a noisy club/pub and got drunk in the end. All in all, it was a pretty memorable Christmas Eve nights out, especially with great company...

Hi! I just wanted to ask if you ever have any issues
with hackers? My last blog (wordpress) was hacked and I ended up losing several weeks of hard work due to no data backup.
Do you have any solutions to protect against hackers?

I tend not to write a great deal of comments, but
i did a few searching and wound up here "Christmas Eve 2007...".
And I actually do have 2 questions for you if it's allright. Could it be just me or does it give the impression like a few of the responses appear as if they are coming from brain dead people? :-P And, if you are posting on additional sites, I'd
like to keep up with everything new you have to post.
Would you make a list of every one of your shared sites like your twitter feed,

Its like you read my mind! You appear to know a lot about
this, like you wrote the book in it or something.
I think that you can do with some pics to drive the message home a little bit, but instead of that, this is wonderful blog.
