shopping list...

there are now 2 things in my shopping list that I would be getting my hands on real soon.

1. a new phone. yea, I sold off the O2 Atom, and now I'm eyeing around for something simpler and less complicated. the most probable purchase would be this:

Sony Ericsson K800i... yea I need a good camera as well, so it is the total package... and I dislike bringing around extra digicams...

2. a new LCD monitor. as mentioned in my previous post, my old 15" monitor is no longer working. since the PIKOM fair is coming to town next week (I think, need to confirm), I'll be getting myself a new LCD monitor, hopefully at a bargain. it'll either gonna be a 19" or a 22", brand Samsung, BENQ or Acer. heh... stay tune...

aren't LCD monitors way cooler and appealing than those huge-assed CRTs??

friends/people that are just not worth trusting, or even knowing...

ever since I've started working 5 years ago, my circle of friends grew exponentially... some of them have grown close to me, while some remain just hello-bye friends.

and during this time, I've came upon friends that asked for favours from me on lending them money. most of the time, if the amount is not too huge, I would usually say okay. then there are friends who kept their promises, and return the loan on time, plus a treat or two to the coffee shop. then there are people who keep on delaying on returning me the money, but in the end still paid me back the loan amount.

and there are people who kept on giving you empty promises on when they are gonna give you back the money, but then will come out with more stupid lame reasons to drag it even further...

(**I need to clarify that I'm lending friends money without charging them interest okay. it's more of giving them a small financial help if I could**)

and today, I present to you the two muthar-farkers who owe me money, and had the least intention of paying me back...

Ah Khoon. This bastard owes me RM400 since July 2006. called him, never answer, and never returns call. looked him up, and will promise you heavens and earth on when he will get the money and pay you, but it'll all bull-crap! yea, the face also like shiet...

Johnathan. Ah Khoon's nephew. Fucking owes me RM700 since October 2006. also the same piece of shit like his uncle... will promise you on when he'll get the money to pay you back, but it's all horse shit.

now, I no longer bother to get the money back from them fucktards, coz it's just a waste of my time. it's not that I don't feel the pain of losing more than RM1k of my hard earn money okay, it's just that I feel this two jackasses are only worth a combine RM1k+, and are no longer worth my time to even talk to...

and another thing that I need to clarify is that it's not that I can't get my money back, coz if I really wanted to, things will get pretty ugly. I know where these 2 liars live, I know where they work, I know where Johnathan's wife's kampung is, and I even know where his parents live... go figure...

my monitor died...

I went home a happy man after watching the Malaysian hot-shot mens double Koo Kien Kiat & Tan Boon Heong kicked the Danes' asses all over the Swiss Open Final on Sunday night.

Got home, switched on my monitor, and saw a few sparks coming from underneath it... shiet!! the screen never lit up, and after a few tries, with sparks coming on & off... sighh~~... the monitor confirm KONG-ed!!

bye bye monitor...

This monitor was actually bought in 1999, so after 8 good long years, it's actually about time for it to go to monitor heaven. The problem is that I can't use my PC period until I get myself a new monitor, and this time, it'll most probably be something like a 19" or 21" LCD... hehehe...

So for the mean time, I'm using my mum's laptop to hook up to the net and work (if I have to).

yea I know, my table is very the messed-up...

a newly renovated Crown Square

I was invited to attend the Sarawak Youth Association 13th Annual Dinner a couple of weeks ago. The dinner was held at Crown Square Kuching.

I have not been there for quite a long long time, and to my surprise, Crown Square actually underwent a major renovation and make-over. The shopping floor space has been expanded to almost twice the previous size, and it holds alot more shops.

This picture was taken from the top floor, where the dinner was held =)

Songs that I have been listening to recently...

my students recently asked me to help them download songs... so after bluetooth-ing those songs to them (lucky bunch... form 2 already got HPs), I listened to them, and actually liked a few... eventually these songs are now playing in my car as well... pretty soothing compared to the likes of Nelly's - Shake Ya Tailfeather.

1. 今天你要嫁给我 (陶喆&蔡依林)

2. 好想对你说 (何润东&张娜拉)

3. 是你决定我的伤心 (张玉华&李圣杰)

4. 梁山伯与茱丽叶 (曹格&卓文萱)

Ciggie Review - Huang Shan (黄山)

I opened the last of the three China ciggie today. The name is Huang Shan (黄山). Of all 3 packets, this one has the best packaging as well as design, that's why I leave it to the last. Taste wise, it tastes a hell lot better than the previous two, and it's very much similar to Dunhill Lights, but with a stronger taste.

solidly packed. good stuff =)

Ciggie Review - A Pen (一枝笔 )

yea you've read it correctly - it's not a typo mistake... there IS this brand called A Pen (一枝笔) from China. this is the second China pack that I opened, and it was during my CNY gambling marathon at my friend's house. started from 1030pm till 5.30am the next morning... and went for breakfast before going home to sleep...

and in that 7 hours, the entire pack of 20 sticks was finished... of course with the others taking one or two to try out. overall comment from the gang - not too bad... just that it still has the funny Chinese taste I mentioned in the previous China ciggie review.

classmates' wedding

I was invited to attend my secondary school classmates' dinner last night. we were all classmates since Form 4, and they started dating during university time.

it was a great night, as a lot of classmates are present, and it's both a wedding dinner as well as somewhat a high school gathering. we classmates occupied about 3 tables, and it was like back to old times... just that we are now all working, and some are attached, and gonna tie the knots soon... there goes another few more Ang Pows...

I only remembered to take this photo after the dinner ceremony when we were waiting to take group photos --> thanks to all the good food and laughters... However, will upload more pictures of the wedding when I get my hands on photos taken by the rest. :)

Lastly, Congratulations to Ngee Shin and Eileen! May the two of you enjoy each others' company, and be happy all the time.
