my new gadget...

After waiting for about 3 weeks due to the shortage of the black colour Asus Eee PC 1000H models, I finally got my hands on it last Friday.  May I present to you my new toy:-

I upgraded this little bugger to a 2GB RAM, so now using it on blogging, surfing and normal office document works is more than a breeze.

some pretty extreme and nice photography...

Monkey love. The chimpanzee has been the one taking care of the white tiger since it was born and discarded by it mother.

Clash of the titans, and you definitely do not wanna be in the middle of it.

Nope, there is no photoshop on this snap, just pure creativities as well as having a kick-ass camera.

so so cute.

Playing scrabble in the ocean and having sharks as your audience anyone???

Otherwise, you can opt to play it while plunging down into earth at *dunno what speed*/second.

Special Urine Cocktail @ Terminal ONE...

We went to Terminal ONE after the lobster feast at Hilton, and Dan's sister ordered this while we had the normal Tiger draughts. Looked pretty good and presentable ehh??

well, guess what???
It's called Special Urine Cocktail, and it cost RM32 per pop..!??! wtf...

I didn't try it though

北海道 butter cream biscuit...

Jo passed one to me a couple of weeks back when her friend bought her some on the way back from Japan.

It looked plain, but I must say that it was one of the richest butter cream biscuits I've had ever - total awesomeness.

lunch takeaway

It was the first time I went down to the Food Gallery on level 3 and ordered the Uramaki set. Not too bad if you just wanna have something light and different from the lunch routine of mix rice, chicken rice or fried noodle.

after partayy disaster.... crap...

Yea, some of you guys knew already that I almost landed my whole car in a round-a-bout after the annual dinner party. And the best part was - I wasn't even drunk yet... wtf...

Damage: front skirt gone, bumper hanging at one side, cracked paint job, bonnet not aligned, some level of damage to the front tyres, gear changing felt funny.

what a way to end the year ehh??

it's my 5th year in the company...

It started off at the Holiday Inn poolside.

The food was great, with me stuffing myself with quite a lot of BBQ lobsters again, after the fest at Hilton a week ago. My cholesterol level must be off the chart now...

It's a mix of band performances by colleagues as well as professional band hired for the after party at Tribes.

The partayy lasted throughout the night until around 3am, but I left at around 1.30am, and something happened after I left Holiday Inn. UNLUCKY....

I'll blog about what happened in the next post as I dun wanna mix happy stuff with depressing stuff.... -_____-''

over-ordered...

After the usual gym session on Sunday, Dan and I headed over to Aladdin Kopitiam for dinner as that place serves one of the best fried chicken in town. Even at around 7+pm, the crowd was already overwhelming, but we manage to grab a seat at the corner. The taukeh told us that we need to wait for a while, but it turned out to be a long 45 minutes wait.

There must have been some misunderstandings when we made our order as I remembered ordering 2 thighs and 2 chicken wings with rice, but when the the meat was served, we were confused because this was served:-

I think there were at least 10 pieces of chicken wings chopped into pieces and we dug into the food straight away without having the order changed as we do not want to wait another 40 odd minutes for the correct order.

After Effect: we almost died, and there goes the effort at the gym.

lobster fest...

Daniel and I went to Hilton for dinner 2 weeks ago to celebrate Dan's soon-to-be-wife's birthday, and full compliments to the restaurant captain as after some conversation with the birthday girl, and then without us making any request, brought over a little tiramisu birthday cake for the lady later in the evening.

HOWEVER, the spotlight of the night was actually not that much of the birthday cake, nor the birthday girl, but the massive amount of grilled lobsters that we ordered and stuffed into our tummies.

With a market price tag of around RM80+ per kilogram, I think we ordered more than what we've paid for the buffet on lobsters alone, and eaten a colony of lobsters.

have you contributed to charity lately??

I bought RM30 worth of vouchers a couple of weeks back for a charity food fair.

RM10 for this, and I bought 3 to finish off the vouchers.

They were kindda expensive, but I suppose it tasted better considering the fact that the money spent would be used to help those in need.

oyster indulgence@Hilton Steakhouse

Jo and I went to the Steakhouse the other night, and for the first time, oysters were on the menu. Apparently, oysters serving is seasonal, and this time it runs from October until November 14.

On top of the usual main courses, I ordered the Ala Mornay Oyster set while the lady went for the Chilled Oysters. I'm not gonna bore you all with snaps of the steaks, but I think pictures of the oysters would be good enough.

Each set consist of 6 huge Australia imported oysters. That odd looking one was an exchange from the greedy woman as she wanted to try out one of the Ala Mornay Oysters. But in the end, I was the one who helped her finish another 2 of her chilled oysters as she wanted to leave some stomach room for her sirloin steak... wtf... -_____-

you hungry yet???
