dinner at Mr Ho's Fine Food...
Sunday was Dad's birthday, so I treated Mum & Dad dinner at Mr Ho's Fine Food, a new dining establishment (franchise) at the just-renovated Crown Square. The place is exquisitely done up, and the ambiance is perfect. According to the F&B Manager who served us, the place only caters for a max seating of 50 per session. Pre-booking is essential, as walk-in diners are almost guaranteed disappointments.
Mr Ho's Fine Food... definitely an ideal place for good food...
all the tables that night were reserved...
I initially wanted to order the Family Sampler (RM109.90), but the manager insisted that the serving portion would be too big for the three of us, and he recommended the half Family Sampler for RM68. Then the dish came... true enough... it was huge!! Dad said we're lucky that we only ordered the half portion... else, we'd have a hard time clearing it, and might have to tapao some home...
Steaks, Sausages and Crispy Pork (Siew Yok) on one side...
Pork Knuckle and Pork Rib on the other side...
I wasn't really full after we finished the first dish, and so was dad. I then ordered the Sausage Feast (RM30.90). The manager recommended 4 other types of sausages apart from the ones that we had in the first serving.
the Sausage Feast came with wasabi gravy. those oily sausages, together with the wasabi gravy were a perfect match. the taste was simply OiShiii....
the bill came up to be over a hundred bucks, but I think it was money well spent... especially on a hearty and satisfying meal...
