Project (part 1)

bought a new 2GB Mini SD card for my Atom last week, despite the fact that it has already a 1G Mini SD installed.

Damai Trip

had a good time with the usual suspects at Damai Beach Resorts on the weekend of 2007 eve...

plenty of ciggies, food was great, company was hilarious, and no shortage of laughters... in fact, laugh until stomach also pain...

repaired my disc brakes

due to the lousy quality of the disc brakes provided by Proton, and after changing the brake pads for the third time in 5+ years, the surface of the discs became very uneven, causing this metal squeaking sound whenever I brake my car...

couldn't stand the sound, so I sent the car to one of those workshop which does disc brake trimming....


they took out the disc brake...


after the trimming process, walahh... smooth as silk...

was having the yum-char session with the usual suspects on Christmas Eve... and because the kuihs that he ordered weren't tasty... he made something else outta it... "-_-

go figure...

Christmas present for my car...

it's like an annual ritual thingy... every year after I got my bonus, part of it will go to buying something for the car... and this year, it happened to be 4 new shocks, as the ones that I have been using all this while decided to retire...

how the fiber looks like...

I wanted to show how the Fiber Plus that I'm consuming looks like yesterday, was having problems loading pictures up onto blogspot...

a sachet of Fiber Plus...

mix the Fiber Plus powder with room temperature water, and drink it before going to bed. it'll do the trick, and it actually taste pretty good. :)

one of the things that helped me lose 18kgs in 3 months...

I did a write up on my before and after some time ago... about my losing of 18kgs in about 3 months time...

so here's the follow-up on that...

my sister is the one who got me into consuming this new range of products distributed by this new MDM company - WBG... because she wants me to become her product testimonial... and since I was overweight back then, it was perfect...

Of course, beside consuming this fiber thingy, I also control my food consumption, and take less rice, more vegetables and fruits. I also resume swimming, for like 3 times a week... so it helps alot as well. 3 months seems quite a long time, but it's all worth it as now I'm wearing clothes that I have not been wearing since university time... =)

was out with the usual bunch having a yumchar session after watching the football match featuring the company's football team...

7 of us drank more than 20 glasses of assorted drinks... ranging from malta, teh-c-peng, ice lemon tea, chrysanthemum tea, green tea...


this is crazy man...

bye bye Renoma, hello Camel Active

for more than 1 year, my pair of Renoma working shoe has served me well... but after taken much abuse for yours truly, the cushion inside has worn off badly... and I myself has been suffering foot-ache since...


Christmas sales is around the corner, so I went over to LEA Centre to look for a new pair... approached the Camel section, and tried on this Camel Active... damn comfortable I tell you... so I told the salesman that I'd be wearing that shoe, and told him to pack the Renoma into the box...

thought that there's some discount, but turned out because that pair is new arrivals, no discount is offered. since I liked it so much, I didn't bother about the discount anyway, and swiped my card...

total damage: RM279.90... darn...

took off the honeycomb grill...

my MTX speakers are pumping out so much thud that the honeycomb grill on the speakers were shuddering all the time... so I got fed up with the noise, and took them off... and they apparently look a lot sexier and more appealing... heh...

don't you just love-em??

car fixed, new stuff added in...

sent my car into the workshop last Wednesday to repair those damages, and it only took the mechanic 1.5 days to fix everything. Took back the car on Thursday afternoon around 3pm, and to my surprise, the workmanship was that good till I couldn't tell the difference... happy me...

then on Saturday, went to this audio workshop and got my front Clif Design speakers changed to a 6" MTX component... and the rear Clarion speakers changed to a pair of 6" Earthquake...




this MTX Thunder series component set is FREAKING good I tell ya... totally blew me away...


this Earthquake speaker at the rear just compliments the bass and some treble for the front... good enough...

and I ALMOST made another upgrade, which was to add a 480 watt Pioneer 4 channel amp to pump the 4 new speakers... but luckily I was short of about RM200 in my wallet... so this would be my next project after getting my bonus... considering my Christmas present lah... heh...

dumb ppl doing business...

was sitting in this kopitiam during lunch time... ordered our usual kopi-peng and waiting for my lunch date to order her chicken rice...

took out my ciggie, finished it... she's still waiting to make her order...

took out my second ciggie... finished... and she's still standing in front of the stall waiting to make her order...

what happened was there were a few people coming over, ordered takeaways, and the stall owner was serving them first, and letting her wait there and looking stupid...

couldn't stand this first-in last-out crap, so we changed place, without canceling the 2 kopi-pengs ordered previously... and I guess that's the last time we're gonna go have lunch there...

some people are just plain stupid...

was having lunch just now... and this colleague of mine went to buy ciggie... came back and showed us this twin pack Pall Mall, saying it's cheap cause it's only 40 sticks for RM8...

I was like true or not... and went over and grab one as well... then I realized that it's a twin pack of 14 sticks... making it 28 sticks for RM8... sien...

I normally buy Pall Mall 25 sticks for RM6.50, so it's not entirely a deal paying RM8 for 28 sticks... but we had fun poking fun of her... heh...

Assembling my BBQ Pit

got this DIY BBQ pit free gift when I purchased the Petronas Syntium engine oil last yet... but it was kept in the store room until last night...

will be holding a BBQ this weekend, so took out the box, and spent half an hour assembling it... it's like playing LEGO though... heh...

walah... my BBQ pit... not too bad considering that it's free...

car in workshop....

just sent my car to the workshop for repair this morning... and will be without it for a few days... :(

took out a few things... including my Pioneer CD player

last year around this time, I sent my car for repair and a new paint job during my parent's vacation to Shanghai. This year, same thing... my parents are now enjoying themselves on Star Cruise (Virgo), and my car is in the workshop again... what coincident huh...

so from today onwards till my car is fixed (probably this Friday or Saturday), I'll be driving my dad's trusty Nissan 130Y...

bought another O2 pouch...

this O2 pouch, which I bought like a month ago... got a tear at the side, which exposes the metal inside... so fearing that it would scratch my O2 Atom... I bought another one during lunch time...


this one cost more, but it has this exclusive look, and holds the phone better... heh...
